What changes have been made to the Terms of Use and the Cancellation & Refund Policy?
We have recently updated our Terms of Use and Cancellation & Refund Policy (previously known as the “Refund Policy”). These changes will come into effect on September 24, 2024. Here are the key updates:
Terms of Use:
Commitment Subscriptions (Section 3): We’ve added key terms specific to commitment subscriptions.
License Terms for uploaded photos (Section 6): We’ve specified the license terms for scanned menu photos you upload in the App.
Informal Dispute Resolution (Section 18.1): Before starting any arbitration, we will attempt to resolve any disputes between us amicably through informal negotiation.
Mandatory Arbitration (Section 18.2): If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be referred to binding arbitration.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction (Section 19): The governing law and jurisdiction is the Republic of Cyprus.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Abolishing the 30 day rule: There’s no longer a need to show tracking data in order to receive a refund.
Commitment Subscriptions (Section 1.B): We’ve introduced specific cancellation and refund options for commitment subscriptions.
Cooling-Off Periods (Section 3): The provisions describing the cooling-off periods have been redrafted for better clarity.
Do I need to take any action regarding these updates?
No action is required if you agree with these updates. However, if you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription and stop using our Services by contacting us at [email protected] or by using the widget in the lower right corner. Please note, your continued use of the App and our Services after the effective date of these updates will signify your acceptance of the updated Terms of Use and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
