How to configure your notifications

Push notifications can help you stay on top of your weight loss plan. If you have push notifications enabled on your device, and you have turned on push notifications in Simple, you will never miss alerts related to your workouts, fasting, eating, staying hydrated and tracking your weight progress, as well as notifications reminding you to keep up with new educational articles.


🤔 Where can I find my push notifications settings?

  • Tap on the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen on either the Home or Track tab, depending on your app version:

  • Go to the Notifications tab and adjust to your taste.

To receive push notifications, you first need to enable them in your operating system settings. You can find how to do that on iOS devices here, and also here for Android devices.


🤔 What types of notifications can I receive?

  • Check-ins settings: You can enable reminders for your daily AVO check-ins to stay consistent and on track. Choose your preferred check-in time, and toggle notifications to get reminders to check in and maintain your streaks.



  • Workout notifications: You can enable notifications for your workouts. Once activated, you’ll receive reminders for your upcoming scheduled workouts, helping you plan your day and stay consistent.



  • Fasting notifications. You can enable notifications on When to fast and set a custom interval for how well in advance you want us to remind you about the upcoming fast.

    You can also get a notification exactly on time, it will notify you right when you're supposed to start your fast:

  • Food notifications. Enable the Remind me to eat notifications to get a heads up before your eating window begins so you can start cooking your fast-breaking meal! You can also get a reminder exactly on time when your fasting window ends — just toggle on the Exactly on time option:

  • Hydration notifications. Enable these notifications, and we'll remind you to stay hydrated throughout the day. Choose how often you want to receive these reminders:

  • Weight notifications. In this section you can customize how regularly you want us to remind you to weigh in:

  • Manage notifications: For iOS users, you can disable all notifications in the app by toggling on this option.
