How to Pause your Subscription on iOS device

Please note that only subscriptions purchased through the website and used on iOS devices can be paused directly in the app. If your subscription does not fall into the above criteria (e.g you purchased your subscription using our in-app offers or you're using an Android device), you can reach out to our support team to assist with pausing your subscription.

When it comes to fasting and related activities, we understand that you might want to take a break for various reasons, such as: resetting your goals, health, schedule conflicts, finances, lifestyle changes, e. t. c.

Whatever the reason, if you feel the need to take a break from fasting, we've made it easy for you to pause your active subscription. This way, you can step away from your fasting schedule without having to fully cancel your subscription. The best part? You can resume your subscription at any time whenever you're ready to continue your journey!

You can pause your subscription once every 6 months, and you have the option to pause it for up to 1 or 3 months at a stretch. During the pause period, access to premium features will be temporarily suspended, meaning you won't be able to use those premium features until the pause period ends and your subscription resumes.


​Once your pause period ends, your subscription renewal date will be extended, ensuring that you benefit from the full paid premium duration without any loss of time.

How to Pause your Subscription

Here’s how you can easily pause your subscription:


1. Open the app and tap your profile icon at the top of the app.


Scroll down to the Other section and click on the Manage Subscription button.



​2. You'll be directed to a different screen where you'll also click on the Manage Subscription button




Next, you'll be directed to our webpage to continue with the pause process. Here, you'll click on Plans and Billing which will open up the Plan Management option.


3. On the next screen, you'll see the Pause Subscription button. Simply click on this button to proceed with pausing your subscription.



4. Choose the Duration: You will be given two options:

  • Pause membership for 1 month

  • Pause membership for 3 months.

Just select the duration that works best for you.




​5. Confirm the Pause: A message will appear confirming that your subscription has been paused and outlining the duration of the pause. Then click on Done as seen below.

6. Enjoy Your Break: During the pause period, your premium features will be suspended, but your progress will be saved.

You can easily resume your subscription anytime by clicking Unpause Subscription.


How to Cancel a Subscription After Pausing It

Pausing a subscription is a great way to take a break from a service without fully canceling it. However, if you decide you no longer want the subscription, you will need to resume it before you can cancel it. Now, we will walk you through the steps to cancel a subscription after pausing it.

Step 1: Unpause Your Subscription

You will need to unpause your subscription before you can cancel it. To do this, click on the Unpause Subscription button.



​You'll be directed through the webpage as outlined above in Step 2 where you'll click on Plans and Billing which will open up the Plan Management option. This will open up to the next screen where you'll see the Resume Subscription button. Simply click on this button to proceed.

Step 2: Turn Off Auto-Renewal

After resuming your subscription, you will see a screen asking you to "Turn off auto-renewal." This is an important step in canceling your subscription. If you do not turn off auto-renewal, your subscription will continue and you will be charged for the next billing cycle.


Once you have turned off auto-renewal, your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing cycle.

Step 3: Cancel Your Subscription

Once you click on turn off auto-renewal, you'll be directed to our webpage to continue with the cancelation from the Plan Subscription option outlined above. You'll then see a pop-up to cancel your subscription.

Once you have completed these steps, your subscription will be canceled and you will not be charged for any future billing cycles. You'll still retain access to your already paid plan until the end of your current billing period.
