What is the Health Connect app?
Health Connect is a health and fitness app developed by Google. It functions as a data processor, storing data from other apps. Health Connect connects different health apps, allowing them to read and write shared data (e.g., steps, sleep, workouts, nutrition). It is compatible with popular apps like Google Fit, Fitbit, Samsung Health, MyFitnessPal, and more.
How does Health Connect work with Simple?
To track your data, you’ll need to first link Health Connect with a health app that records your data. Once connected, Health Connect will store the data from the health app and transfer it to the Simple app. This allows you to sync your weight, steps, and water intake from Health Connect to Simple.
How to Connect Health Connect and the Simple App
Tap your profile icon at the top right of the app:
Scroll down to Settings and tap Fitness apps:
Next, tap Health Connect and in the next screen tap Open Health Connect to initiate the connection:
On the next screen, log in to your Health Connect account and allow access to the Simple App.
Done. Your integration is complete.
If you are experiencing connectivity issues between Health Connect and third-party tracking apps, such as Google Fit, Fitbit, Samsung Health, or others, we recommend reaching out to their support teams, as they are better equipped to assist you with your request.
