🙌 Meet Rachel!
She started her intermittent fasting journey on Oct. 1, 2021, and hasn’t skipped a single day since. As a result, her weight went from 169 lbs to 148 lbs, and she noticed significant muscle growth and an improved mood too. Her regular protocol is 16:8.
Rachel admits that she saw some additional unexpected changes: “The clear skin has been amazing and unexpected. I also feel like I’m glowing differently.”
Education is the most powerful weapon!
As many of us are snackers, Rachel was no exception. However, as soon as she realized what was happening in her body when her insulin spiked after every single thing she ate, she decided to stop snacks in between meals.
The biggest motivation was seeing others’ progress. Rachel reads the success stories in the Simple app and saw how her best friend Lindsey lost over 30 lbs doing IF. As a result, Rachel became her mom’s motivation too: She is down 10 lbs.
Rachel’s tip on women’s health
“When on a cycle, I eat additional meals to make sure I’m getting all the nutrients I need during that time. I did not at first and struggled with having to eat more. Now I just enjoy the extra food and know I’ll get right back into it when I’m feeling my best.”
