🌿 First things first: whether you're following a true fast or a fasting mimicking approach, herbal tea without anything else added will not break your fast. Herbal tea doesn't contain significant nutrients to block the gut healing mechanism of Intermittent Fasting, called the Migrating Motor Complex (MMC).

1. Camomile tea is well known for its calming effects, which makes it perfect for enjoying before bed.

It's also good for digestion!

2. The menthol found in peppermint tea is a natural muscle relaxant. Peppermint tea is an excellent choice if you want to relax and unwind after a busy day.

3. Ginger tea is great for digestion and helps combat nausea.

Anti-inflammatory properties of ginger root tea can help relieve headaches and migraines. It also increases blood flow to the brain which can help improve your focus.
